The Great Rentals 360 site contains a number of changes over the Down South 360 administrative site. Please take the time to read through the change notes before you proceed.

You Must Obtain A New Password

While we did move all of your rental listings and information from DownSouth360 to our new site, your previous passwords were encrypted and are not in this new database. You must obtain a new password to login. To obtain a new password simply click the "Lost Password?" link in the Advertiser Login section. Enter the same username and email address that you used on Down South 360 and your new password will be mailed to you immediately.

What's New On Great Rentals 360

In anticipation of adding additional vacation rental locations throughout the U.S. we created this site so that rental owners and agents no longer share a site with real estate agents. This not only makes data entry less confusing for our advertisers, but it also allows us to be add many new features exclusive to rental owners and companies in the upcoming months.

Once you login to the Command Center you will notice a few cosmetic changes that provide a cleaner user interface. Before you add, edit, or delete listings please make sure that all of your agent profile information is correct. This information shows up on the listing detail pages and allows web site visitors to quickly find your contact information.

Entering Rental Listings Has Changed

When entered a listing on Down South 360 your first step was to select between the property categories of Hilton Head Vacation Rental Homes or Hilton Head Vacation Rental Villas. This has now been streamlined so that the first step is to choose your location (i.e. Hilton Head). In the near future other destination locations will also be included in this list. When you enter the property detail information you will be given the option to choose rental home or villa / condo.

You will also notice that we added two new fields for the In Season and Off Season start dates. Please enter the proper dates in these fields as they will show up in the property listing detail pages. This data will also be important information in conjunction with another feature that will be added in the near future (see below for upcoming features).

It is important to note that one of the Top 5 Most Popular Pages on Hilton Head 360 is the vacation rental search page. It is on this page where web surfers select the property and rental community features that best suit their needs. If you don't take the time to complete all of the option fields and chech boxes that pertain to your properties chances are that web site visitors WILL NOT see your listings. In particular, please take the time to use the smoking/non-smoking, pet friendly, and handicap accessible option fields. It is also important to utilize the check boxes for property features and community features.

If you do not see all of the check box options you need for your property features or rental community features please contact your Down South Publishers representative immediately. It takes us only a few minutes to add an item to those fields.

Future Upgrades

We're currently working on a number of upgrades for our vacation rental advertisers:

• National Vacation Rental Site. In the near future we will be launching GreatVacationRentals360.com. This site will feature vacation rental listings from all 360 web sites.
• Automatic listing upload. If you have the ability to export the property listings from your database to an XML file in the format that we provide we will be able to automatically upload your property listings to our database. All additions, deletions, and changes will be updated on our sites.
• Availability Calendar. Our availability calendar will allow you two ways to manage property availability. The first is to use the calendar provided within each listing. The second allows you to use your account information from HomeAway.com, CyberRentals.com, VacationRentals.com, or VacationHomes.com and import calendar availability that you have already entered on those web sites.
• XML Data Feed Export. We're currently evaluating a number of sites where we can export your property listing data to provide you with greater internet exposure.
